IEC
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is the leading global organization that prepares and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies. These serve as a basis for national standardization and as references when drafting international tenders and contracts. Through its members, the IEC promotes international cooperation on all questions of electrotechnical standardization and related matters, such as the assessment of conformity to standards, in the fields of electricity, electronics and related technologies.
The IEC charter embraces all electrotechnologies including electronics, magnetics and electromagnetics, electroacoustics, multimedia, telecommunication, and energy production and distribution, as well as associated general disciplines such as terminology and symbols, electromagnetic compatibility, measurement and performance, dependability, design and development, safety and the environment. GreenBrillliance panels have the following certification as per IEC standards:
UL
UL has developed more than 1,000 Standards for Safety. UL Standards for Safety are essential to helping ensure public safety and confidence, reduce costs, improve quality and market products and services. Millions of products and their components are tested to UL's rigorous safety standards with the result that consumers live in a safer environment than they would have otherwise. GreenBrilliance panels are certified as per the UL 1703 standard.
CEC
GreenBrilliance is listed on CEC's SB1 compliance for its entire range of top quality solar panels. The entire range of products is eligible for incentive in California.
The California Solar Initiative (CSI) is for all market segments. The requirement for PV module eligibility is listing to UL 1703 by a NRTL whose OSHA scope includes UL1703 and additional performance parameter testing at an International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) affiliated laboratory.
